Hollywood stumbles on the next big step in home video

Find the process too difficult, the 30-year-old San Luis Obispo resident said, “I just stopped at some point because it asked me to do too much.”

“Get the right strategic only UltraViolet issues most important to the studio in 2012,” said Spencer Wang, head of Internet research and media at Credit Suisse. “CEO all for great entertainment consortium needs to focus on getting it right.”

The stakes are enormous. Movie studios are about half of their total income from the sale of home entertainment. But the overall consumer spending in home entertainment fell 2% in 2011, the seventh consecutive annual decline, according to the Digital Entertainment Group, which collates digital media sales. More specifically to the UltraViolet, the revenue from the consumer film sales, as opposed to leasing, down 12%.
